Information stored on your device
Pokenote stores your decks, cards, cover styles, mastery status, theme, language, and app preferences locally. No account is required for core deck creation and review.
Anonymous product analytics
When app analytics is enabled, Pokenote records a random installation identifier and events such as app opens, onboarding, deck creation or import, review actions, deck completion, theme changes, and rating prompt requests. Events may include app version, platform, general locale, time, and numeric counts.
This website records page views and App Store button clicks using a random browser-session identifier. Campaign links may also record the supplied source, medium, campaign, content, and button placement. The website does not use advertising cookies or collect names, email addresses, or precise location for this measurement.
Analytics never includes card text, deck names, imported files, email addresses, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, or photos. Events are processed using our Supabase-hosted database only to measure acquisition, activation, reliability, and retention.
You can turn app analytics off under Me → Share Anonymous Analytics. Turning it off removes pending events on the device and stops new collection. Previously uploaded events are anonymous and cannot generally be connected back to a person.
Permissions
Photo Library “add only” access is used solely when you explicitly save a deck poster. Pokenote does not read your existing photo library and does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, calendar, or Bluetooth access.
Children
Pokenote is a general-audience study tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect names, contact information, card content, or other personal submissions from children.
Your choices
You can export or delete your decks in the app and disable anonymous app analytics at any time. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@clayborn.cloud; we aim to respond within 30 days.
